Grading Summary
This Dialga promo has very strong centering, corners, and edges, with only light wear in those areas. The surface is the main limiter due to visible scratches and a small spot, especially on the back.

Image Quality
Strong light reflection across the center of the card back obscures part of the Poké Ball and swirl details.

Four-axis score profile
The card is well centered overall. The front shows a mild left-right shift and slight top-bottom imbalance, while the back is essentially centered left-right with only a very small vertical drift, which supports the strong centering result.
Corner wear is minimal and localized. The front top-left and bottom-right corners show tiny white edge breaks/nicks, and the back bottom-left has only a subtle possible nick, so the corners remain in very strong shape.
Observed
Edge wear is limited to a couple of tiny white nicks on the back cut edge, one near the lower right area and one near the center top. The wear is minor and isolated, which is consistent with the near-top edge result.
Observed
The surface shows the most meaningful wear on the card. A thin vertical scratch crosses Dialga’s dark body on the front, there is a tiny orange speck on the gold stripe near the top, and the back has a long faint vertical scratch/mark in the upper-left blue field; the strong back glare reduces detail in part of the card, but the visible marks still support the lower surface result.

What's holding this card back
Lowest axisSurface (6.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Surface Scratch (moderate, back).
Bringing surface up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 8.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
