Terms of Service

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials and device secure. You may use GemiScan only if you are at least 13 and are allowed to use the service under applicable law.

If you cannot form a binding agreement yourself, you may use GemiScan only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile and to use a username, display name, and profile content that you have the right to use.

You keep ownership of card images, scans, profile details, portfolio records, and other content you upload or create in GemiScan.

You grant GemiScan the permissions needed to host, process, transform, analyze, display, and share your content based on your settings, the app's default sharing behavior, and your use of the service. For example, we may process scans to create card images, grading evidence, portfolio views, public pages, feeds, and app previews.

GemiScan may use automated analysis, computer vision, AI models, pricing providers, marketplace listings, and related tools to estimate card condition, attributes, or market context.

AI grading results are informational only. They are not official certification, appraisal, authentication, financial advice, or a guarantee of value, condition, authenticity, grade, sale price, or future performance.

Official grading companies, marketplaces, and buyers may reach different conclusions. You should not rely on GemiScan as the sole basis for purchases, sales, grading submissions, insurance, tax, or investment decisions.

Do not use GemiScan to violate laws, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, upload harmful or deceptive material, interfere with the service, scrape or overload systems, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service, or attempt unauthorized access.

Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use or content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading, harmful, or intended to expose another person's private information.

GemiScan includes public and social features such as public profiles, shared card pages, feeds, likes, and follows. Supported profile and portfolio content may be public by default.

You may report public cards or public profiles and block other users where GemiScan provides those controls. Blocking is intended to hide public content between signed-in accounts and may remove related follows or likes, but it does not make public web pages invisible to anonymous visitors.

We may review reports and may remove, suppress, limit, or refuse to display content, profiles, usernames, or other account material that we believe violates these Terms, creates risk for users or the service, or is otherwise inappropriate for public surfaces.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to GemiScan, remove or suppress content, preserve relevant records, or take other reasonable steps if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for GemiScan or other users, or used the service in a harmful or unlawful way.

Unpublishing, deletion, blocking, or moderation actions may not immediately remove content from backups, logs, caches, search indexes, shared links, screenshots, or systems outside GemiScan's control.

GemiScan is a pre-release service and may change, pause, or remove features as the product develops. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or loss-free operation.

If you download or use GemiScan through an app store, device platform, or similar marketplace, that marketplace's terms and license rules may also apply.

These Terms govern your use of the GemiScan service and do not replace any app marketplace terms that apply to your download or use of the app.

GemiScan is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

No information in GemiScan is professional, legal, tax, financial, insurance, grading, authentication, or appraisal advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GemiScan and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
