How can we help?
Find answers about your account, sharing controls, scans and reports, or contact support.
Account and sharing
How do I return to my existing account?
Use the same sign-in method and account you used before. Follow the sign-in options shown in the app. If you cannot get back to your collection, contact support and explain which sign-in method you used. Never share a sign-in code.
Can I change my username?
Usernames cannot currently be changed once set. Contact support if you need help with your account identity.
How do I delete my account?
Open your profile’s Settings, choose Delete Account, confirm deletion and complete identity confirmation. This permanently removes your account and associated content; it cannot be undone. Review the privacy policy for details about retained records and provider backups.
How do I control scan sharing?
Open Settings and use Auto-Publish Scans to control whether future scans are published automatically. Check the current switch setting before scanning. To remove an existing card from public view, open the card’s sharing controls, choose Unpublish and confirm. Turning off Auto-Publish Scans does not unpublish existing cards.
How can someone open a public scan?
Share the scan’s public link or public code. A visitor can enter the code on this website’s search page. Publicly shared content can also appear in community discovery pages. A public code is a way to find a scan, not an access password.
Scanning
How do I get a clear scan?
Place the card flat, keep the camera square to it and capture the whole front and back. Check focus before continuing. Use even lighting and avoid a bright reflection across the card. If the image is blurred or an edge is cut off, retake it before relying on the condition report.
Should I remove a sleeve?
A sleeve or holder can add scratches, dust and reflections that obscure the card. Remove it only when you can handle the card safely. Do not bend, press or clean the card to improve the photograph. For a fragile or valuable card, prioritize safe handling over getting another scan.
How should I photograph a holographic card?
Adjust the light or camera position until glare stops hiding the area you want to inspect. Review both faces and look at the physical surface from more than one angle. A single photograph may not reveal every scratch, print line or indentation.
Grades and reports
What is a Gemi Grade?
It is an AI estimate of the condition visible in your scan. A completed report covers centering, corners, edges and surface. In the current grading implementation, the overall grade is the lowest of the four required subgrades, not their average.
Is it an official PSA, BGS or CGC grade?
No. GemiScan is independent of those grading companies. Its estimate does not authenticate a card or guarantee a professional grading result. Review the report’s evidence alongside the photographs and the physical card.
Does confidence predict a professional grade?
No. A confidence percentage describes the assessment under the app’s evidence rules. It is not a measured probability that a professional grader will agree. Improve unclear photographs and inspect the card physically when a detail matters to your decision.
Collection and market estimates
Why is a market estimate missing?
Price coverage varies by card, variant and provider. Check that the identified card, language and variant match your copy. An unavailable estimate does not mean a card is worthless. Contact support if the identity looks wrong or an expected value remains unavailable.
Is the displayed value a guaranteed sale price?
No. Market estimates are reference information. Actual sale outcomes depend on condition, the exact variant, buyer demand and selling costs. Compare suitable completed sales before making a purchase or submission decision.
Where do I change the display currency?
Open Settings and select Display Currency. Choose from the currencies currently offered in the app.
