Grading Summary
This Charizard shows excellent overall preservation, led by near-even centering and only light handling wear. The main flaws are a small back corner chip, a short edge nick, and a few tiny surface specks and marks.

Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.

Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is effectively strong on the front, with the layout appearing close to even both left-to-right and top-to-bottom. The back shows only a modest offset, which still fits a top-tier centering result.
Corners are strong overall, with the only notable flaw being a small white chip or break along the back bottom-right corner arc. That light corner wear is limited and consistent with the high corner result.
Observed
Edges are very clean overall, with the main issue being a short pale nick on the back left edge that reaches into the blue border. The other reported edge-adjacent marks are tiny superficial flecks or border specks and do not add much additional wear.
Observed
Surface wear is limited to scattered tiny specks and brief marks on the front border and back blue field. These are small, isolated defects without evidence of meaningful scratching, creasing, or other major surface damage.

What's holding this card back
Lowest axisCorners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
