Grading Summary
This Primarina shows excellent centering and generally clean edges and corners, with only light corner wear and a couple of minor back surface blemishes. The main limitation is surface quality rather than structural wear.

Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very strong on both sides, with the front and back staying close to even left/right and top/bottom balance. The fixed centering result is fully supported by the scan measurements.
Corners show only light wear, led by a small isolated white nick on the back top-left corner. That minor corner wear is consistent with the fixed corner result of a near-mint level presentation.
Observed
Edge wear is not meaningfully present in the scans; the edge strips do not show true edge chipping or heavy whitening. The fixed edge result is therefore supported by clean perimeter evidence overall.
Surface is held back by two minor back-side blemishes: a small white curved scuff/scratch on the blue border near the left side and a tiny dark speck on the back art. Those scattered, low-severity marks justify the reduced surface result while still indicating mostly clean overall presentation.

What's holding this card back
Lowest axisSurface (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Surface Mark (minor, back).
Bringing surface up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Corners, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
