Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published July 18, 2026
The card shows excellent centering with only minor corner and edge blemishes. The main condition limiter is a noticeable front surface scratch across the lower-left artwork.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very close to even on the front, and the back remains solid overall despite a modest vertical imbalance. The balance is strong enough to support a top centering result.
A small frayed nick is visible at the back top-right corner, but the other corners present cleanly. The wear is minor and localized, which fits a strong corner result.
Observed
There is only a tiny chip/whitening at the far right edge near the corner, with no broader edge wear elsewhere. This is an isolated, low-severity defect and does not materially affect the edge result.
Observed
The main surface issue is a moderate diagonal scratch/scuff across the lower-left front artwork, extending into the left side of the Ability text region. That visible mark is the primary limiter for the surface result, while the rest of the surface evidence appears clean.
Observed
Surface (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Surface Scratch (moderate, front).
Bringing surface up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Corners, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
