Gemi Grade Report
Primal Clash
Published August 1, 2026
This Groudon EX presents with strong overall condition, highlighted by clean surface and corner presentation. The main deductions come from mild edge wear and noticeable but still strong centering.
Image Quality
1 back-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card shows strong but not perfect alignment: the front is noticeably shifted left-to-right and slightly top-heavy, while the back is centered left-to-right but still shows a modest top/bottom imbalance. That level of offset fits a 9-grade centering result.
The corners are effectively clean overall, with only a very subtle possible nick at the front bottom-right tip and a back top-left mark that was too affected by image quality to count against the grade. With no meaningful corner wear confirmed, the 10-grade result is well supported.
Observed
Edge wear is limited to a couple of small white nicks along the cut edge on the front top area and the back bottom edge. The wear is minor and localized, which supports a solid 9-grade edges result.
Observed
No surface defects were detected in the front or back art scans, and there is no reported scratch, dent, crease, spot, print line, or foil wear affecting the card face. That clean surface evidence is consistent with a 10-grade result.
Centering (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
Bringing centering up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
