Grading Summary
This Omanyte shows strong overall preservation, led by excellent horizontal centering and clean surface appearance. The grade is mainly held back by mild vertical centering offset plus small corner and edge wear on the back.

Four-axis score profile
Centering is very strong left-to-right and visibly shifted only top-to-bottom, with both front and back measuring about 43/57. That level of vertical imbalance supports a high but not perfect centering result.
The corners show only minor wear, mainly small white breaks/nicks at the back corners. One back-corner mark fell in a glare-affected area and was excluded from scoring, but the remaining visible wear is still light enough for a strong corners result.
Observed
Edge condition is mostly clean, with only a couple of small white nicks/chips along the back top cut edge. The wear is minor and localized, which fits a high edge grade.
Observed
The surface presents cleanly overall, with no scorable surface damage identified on the card art. The tiny pale specks on the lower back border were observed but excluded from scoring because that region was affected by image quality, so they do not undermine the surface result.

What's holding this card back
Lowest axisCentering (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
Bringing centering up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Corners, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
