Grading Summary
This Charizard shows strong overall preservation with excellent corners, edges, and surface. Centering is the main relative weakness, while the back-side image quality limits how much the small excluded wear can be weighed.

Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
2 back-side defects ignored due to scan quality.

Four-axis score profile
Centering is strong overall, with the front essentially perfect left-to-right but noticeably heavier top-to-bottom. The back is also slightly off in both directions, so the card lands just shy of perfect centering.
Corners support a top-tier result: the front corners are clean, and the back shows only a small nick on the top-right corner. That back-corner wear was observed in an image-quality-affected area and was excluded from scoring, so the corner result remains excellent.
Observed
Edges are very clean overall, with only minor whitening/roughness reported on the back top edge. A tiny nick on the back left edge was also observed but excluded from scoring because the area was affected by scan quality, leaving the edges in excellent condition.
Observed
The surface is essentially pristine, with only a tiny white speck on the back blue background near the lower logo area. That mark is negligible and does not materially affect the otherwise clean surface.

What's holding this card back
Lowest axisCentering (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
Bringing centering up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Corners, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
