Grading Summary
This Charizard shows strong overall preservation, with near-even centering, clean corners and edges, and only minor surface marks on the back. A small amount of front glare slightly limits inspection confidence, but the visible evidence still supports a high-grade presentation.

Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.

Four-axis score profile
The measured centering is very close to balanced on both sides, with the front essentially dead-even top-to-bottom and only a slight left/right drift, while the back remains similarly tight. Those measurements are consistent with a perfect centering result.
All corner scans were free of corner wear, bends, or whitening. The corners therefore present as clean and support a top score.
Both edge-strip scans were clean, with no visible edge wear or chipping on either side. That matches a top edges result.
The surface is held back by minor back-side marks: a faint short scratch on the blue printed face near the bottom and a tiny pale fleck near the top border, both set back from the cut edge. The marks are small and localized, but they are enough to separate the surface from a perfect result.

What's holding this card back
Lowest axisSurface (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Surface Mark (minor, back).
Bringing surface up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
