Grading Summary
This Pikachu presents excellent centering and a very clean surface, with only minor corner wear and a few small edge nicks. Overall, the card looks strong with the main limitations coming from light corner and edge handling.

Four-axis score profile
Centering is exceptional on both sides, with measured front and back ratios essentially 50/50 left-right and only a modest top-to-bottom shift around 53/47. That level of alignment supports a top centering result.
The corners show light wear rather than heavy breakdown, including a subtle possible nick at the front top-right and small whitening/edge breaks on the back bottom-left and bottom-right corners. The wear is limited and localized, which fits a strong but not flawless corner result.
Observed
Edge condition is very strong overall, with only a couple of small white nicks/chips on the back top cut edge. These are minor and isolated, so they align with a near-mint edge result.
Observed
The surface appears essentially clean, with only tiny specks/marks on the yellow border and the back Poké Ball band. The defects are negligible to minor and do not suggest broader scratching, dents, creases, or print-line issues, which supports a pristine surface result.

What's holding this card back
Lowest axisCorners (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
