Published July 18, 2026
This card presents as a strong high-grade example with excellent centering and only light, isolated wear. The main visible flaws are minor corner whitening and a tiny back surface speck, while edge condition remains very strong overall.
Image Quality
1 back-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is excellent on both sides, with the front essentially dead-centered and the back still comfortably balanced overall. The measured ratios support a top-tier centering result.
Corners show only very minor, low-confidence whitening on the front top-right and bottom-right corners, both described as subtle and somewhat ambiguous under the lighting/compression. The wear is limited enough to align with a strong corner grade.
Observed
Edges are largely clean, with only a small whitish nick on the front bottom cut edge showing on the scan. A tiny nick on the back top edge was observed but excluded from grade scoring because that region was affected by scan quality, so the edge result is still supported by mostly pristine evidence.
Observed
The surface is very clean overall, with just a tiny dark speck on the back art area near the white swirl band left of the Poké Ball. That isolated mark is minor and consistent with a near-mint surface result.
Observed
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, front).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Surface, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
