Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published July 18, 2026
This card presents very strongly overall, with excellent centering, clean corners, and no reported surface issues. The only noted flaw is a minor bit of edge wear on the front top edge near the far right end.
Image Quality
• Strong reflective glare in the lower-right corner obscures part of the card edge and bottom text area.
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is excellent on both sides, with the front nearly perfectly balanced left-to-right and only a slight top/bottom drift, and the back remaining comfortably within a strong centered range. This supports a top centering result.
All four corners were reported clean across the front and back corner scans, with no corner wear noted. That is consistent with a perfect corners result.
The edge scans show a single minor nick/whitening on the front top cut edge near the far right end, with slight adjacent whitening below the boundary. Aside from that small flaw, the remaining inspected edges were clean, which fits a very strong but not flawless edges result.
Observed
The front and back art scans did not show scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface anomalies. Even with some glare limiting part of the view, no surface defects were reported, supporting a pristine surface result.
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
