Gemi Grade Report
MEP Black Star Promos
Published June 3, 2026
This card shows strong overall preservation, with excellent centering and no observed surface defects. The only limitations come from a few minor, localized corner and edge nicks.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is essentially balanced on both sides: the front is nearly 51/49 left-right and 49/51 top-bottom, while the back stays close to even as well. That level of alignment supports a top centering result.
Corner condition is held back by light localized wear at the front top-left and bottom-left tips, plus a small white nick on the back top-right corner arc. The marks appear minor and confined to the corner points rather than extending into the borders.
Observed
Edges are very clean overall, with only a small white chip/notch noted along the front edge where the cut boundary is interrupted. No additional edge wear was identified on the back, which is consistent with a near-pristine edge result.
Observed
No surface defects were detected on either the front or back art scans. There is no evidence of scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface anomalies, supporting a perfect surface result.
Corners (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
