Gemi Grade Report
Ancient Origins
Published June 19, 2026
This card presents very strong centering with only light corner, edge, and surface wear. The main limitations are a few small edge nicks, minor back-corner wear, and faint surface marks/scratches.
Image Quality
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
• Strong lighting reflection runs through the center of the card and obscures parts of the artwork and text.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is excellent on both sides, with the front essentially balanced and the back only slightly offset. The measured alignment supports a top-end centering result.
The corners show only minor wear, with small white nicks/breaks on the back top-right and bottom-right corners. The front corners appear clean, so the corner result is supported by limited, light corner damage only.
Observed
Edge wear is limited to a few small nicks and whitening points, including a tiny chip on the front top edge, a possible nick at the front bottom-left edge, and a small nick along the back top edge. These are minor but visible, which fits a solid but not pristine edge result.
Observed
The surface has a faint diagonal scratch-like streak in the front left-center blue field and a few tiny pale specks/marks on the front and back borders. Strong front glare and some back reflectivity reduce inspection clarity in places, but the observed marks and light scratch are enough to explain a modest surface deduction.
Observed
Edges (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Surface, 8.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
