Gemi Grade Report
Chaos Rising
Published June 26, 2026
This card presents very well overall, with clean corners and edges plus strong centering. The main limitations are the front vertical centering imbalance and the visible front surface scratches in the gold field.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is strong overall, with the front nearly perfectly balanced left-to-right and the back also close to even. The front does show a noticeable top/bottom imbalance, which keeps it from a perfect result but still supports a high centering grade.
The corner scans show no detectable wear on either side, and the available evidence supports clean, well-preserved corners throughout.
No edge wear was detected in the front or back edge strip scans, so the edges appear clean and consistent with a top-tier result.
The front art scan shows two scratch-like surface defects in the gold field: one moderate diagonal mark near the upper-right area below the HP banner and one thinner horizontal line entering from the left above the Ability text area. Those visible scratches explain the reduced surface grade; back-side inspection was mildly affected by glare, but no additional surface damage was identified there.
Observed
Surface (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Surface Scratch (moderate, front).
Bringing surface up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
