Gemi Grade Report
Neo Discovery
Published July 5, 2026
Centering and surface quality are excellent, and the corners show only light wear. The card’s grade is chiefly limited by the severe whitening/chipping on the back bottom edge.
Image Quality
Low-confidence card geometry detected (confidence 0.70, detected sides 2).
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very strong on both sides, with the front nearly balanced and the back only mildly shifted vertically. The minor front geometry flag does not change the measured centering result, which supports the top centering grade.
Corners are largely clean, with only a small white edge break and slight adjacent whitening at the back top-left corner. That level of wear is light and consistent with a near-gem corner result.
Observed
Edge condition is held back by the back bottom edge, where a large central chip/whitening exposes the light core and extends slightly into the printed border. This is the dominant flaw and clearly justifies a much lower edge grade.
Observed
The surface is otherwise clean, with only a tiny red spot on the front art near Umbreon’s lower torso. The spot is isolated and negligible, so the surface still supports a pristine result.
Observed
Edges (5.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (severe, back).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Corners, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
