Gemi Grade Report
SM Black Star Promos
Published August 15, 2026
This card presents very strong overall visual quality, led by excellent centering and only minor localized wear. The main deductions come from a few small back-edge nicks, one small corner chip, and faint front surface scratches.

Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is essentially even on both sides and both axes, with the front reading about 51/49 left-right and 53/47 top-bottom, and the back also staying close to balanced. That level of alignment supports the top centering result.
Corner quality is strong overall, with the only noted issue being a small white chip/nick on the back lower-left corner. The wear is minor and localized, which fits the near-top corner result.
Observed
The back bottom edge shows two small white nicks on the cut edge, one near the left-center and one toward the right side. These are minor but visible edge-wear points, consistent with a solid but not pristine edge result.
Observed
The front surface shows two faint hairline-type scratches in the upper background areas and a tiny isolated speck near the lower-left portion of the art. The marks are light and limited in scope, supporting a strong surface result despite visible surface wear.
Observed
Edges (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, back).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Surface, 8.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
