Gemi Grade Report
Phantasmal Flames
Published June 21, 2026
This card presents very clean overall, with excellent centering, sharp corners, and no visible surface damage in the scanned areas. The main flaw is a localized edge chip/whitening on the front bottom right edge, along with some glare that limits inspection confidence.
Image Quality
• Strong diagonal rainbow glare runs across the card and obscures parts of the artwork and text, making inspection unreliable.
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is extremely well centered overall, with both front and back measurements staying very close to a 50/50 split. The slight front and back drift is minimal and consistent with a top-tier centering result.
No corner wear was detected on either the front or back corner scans, so the corners present as clean and sharp. That level of preservation supports the top subgrade.
Edge wear is concentrated at the front bottom far right cut edge, where a moderate yellowish chip/whitening extends slightly into the border. The other scanned edges appear clean, but this localized wear appropriately pulls the edge result below a perfect grade.
Observed
No surface scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, or foil wear were identified in the available scans. The strong front glare makes parts of the card harder to inspect, but within the readable areas there is no visible surface damage to explain a lower result.
Edges (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (moderate, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
