Gemi Grade Report
Phantasmal Flames
Published May 27, 2026
This card presents very strong overall quality, with excellent centering and clean surfaces. The main visible wear is limited to minor back-corner chipping and a tiny edge nick, both of which are light and localized.
Image Quality
Bright reflection across the lower text area could obscure surface inspection and be mistaken for a defect.
1 back-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is strong on both sides, with the front slightly right-heavy and bottom-heavy and the back correspondingly slightly left-heavy and bottom-heavy. The measured offsets are small enough to support a high-end centering result.
The back corners show the only meaningful wear, with small white breaks/nicks on the top-right, top-left, and bottom-left corner arcs consistent with minor corner chipping. A faint possible mark near the bottom-right corner was excluded because it sat in an image-quality affected region, so the corner assessment rests on the clearer minor wear that is visible.
Observed
Edges are essentially clean, with just one tiny nick/break along the back bottom cut edge near the center of the strip. That isolated and negligible wear is consistent with an otherwise pristine edge result.
Observed
No confirmed surface defects were detected on the card art scans, and the front scan does not show scratches, dents, creases, print lines, or spots. There is a bright reflection across the lower front text area that limits inspection there, but it did not produce any verified surface damage.
Corners (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
