Gemi Grade Report
Ascended Heroes
Published August 19, 2026
This Pikachu ex presents very well overall, with clean corners, strong surface quality, and only localized edge wear. Centering is good, though the front shows a noticeable vertical tilt that is still within a strong overall range.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card shows strong overall alignment, with the front essentially dead center left-to-right and only a mild front top-to-bottom imbalance. The back is also close to centered, supporting the high centering result despite the noticeable front vertical offset.
No corner wear was detected on either side, and the corner scans came back clean. That supports a top-end corners result.
Edge wear is localized to the front top-left cut edge/corner area, where whitening and slight chipping are visible. The rest of the edges appear clean, so the result reflects a small but real edge-level imperfection.
Observed
Surface condition is strong overall, with only two minor scratches on the front art: one in the upper-right dark tree/background area and one faint streak in the upper-left light blue background. The marks are light and isolated, consistent with a high surface result.
Observed
Centering (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
Bringing centering up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
