Gemi Grade Report
SWSH Black Star Promos
Published June 28, 2026
This Dragapult VMAX presents extremely clean overall with excellent centering and only very minor isolated wear or specking. The few noted flaws are small, localized, and do not materially affect the card's strong eye appeal.
Image Quality
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
• Strong holo reflection across the card surface, especially through the center and upper left, which can interfere with inspection.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is very well centered overall, with only a slight left-to-right and top-to-bottom shift on the front and near-even centering on the back. The measured values stay comfortably within an excellent range, which supports the top centering result.
Corners are strong overall, with the main noted issue being a small white chip/whitening at the back left corner edge. The other corners appear clean enough that this remains a minor, isolated wear point.
Observed
Edge wear is minimal, limited to a tiny whitening/nick at the back edge/cut corner area. The rest of the edges present cleanly, so the edge condition remains effectively pristine.
Observed
The surface shows only negligible isolated specks on the back, including one on the blue border and one on the lower Poké Ball area, with no meaningful scratches, dents, creases, or print-line issues reported. Some inspection is slightly hindered by glare on the front and minor back glare, but the visible surface evidence still supports an otherwise clean finish.
Observed
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
