Gemi Grade Report
Phantasmal Flames
Published June 28, 2026
This Meowth presents as a very clean card overall, with excellent centering and only a small edge blemish standing out. Corners and surface remain effectively pristine, with the back-corner marks too subtle to materially affect the assessment.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very strong on both sides, with the front essentially dead-centered top/bottom and only a slight left/right lean, while the back also stays close to even. That level of balance supports the top centering result.
The corner scans show only two very faint, low-confidence back-corner indications: tiny possible white fibers or pinpoint nicks near the bottom edges by the BL and BR corners. Because they are negligible, subtle, and partly limited by glare/image quality, they do not materially affect the corner result.
Observed
The edge strip scan captured a clear minor white nick/chip at the edge near a corner boundary. It is isolated and small, which fits a modest edge deduction rather than heavier wear.
Observed
No scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface issues were detected in the art scans, so the surface appears clean and well preserved.
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
