Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published August 19, 2026
This card presents excellent centering and clean corners, with only a minor edge issue. Surface scratches in the upper-right front area are the main limitation on the overall grade.
Image Quality
• Strong diagonal light reflection across the card front obscures part of the artwork and text area.
• Strong light reflection across the left side and lower-left border obscures part of the card surface and edge.
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is very well centered on both sides, with the front measuring about 46/54 left-right and 47.9/52.1 top-bottom, and the back also staying close to balanced. That level of alignment is consistent with a top centering result.
All four corners appear clean in the dedicated corner scans, with no meaningful wear or whitening detected. The corner condition supports a pristine result.
Edge condition is strong overall, with only a small chip/whitening spot at the far right corner on the front cut edge. With no additional edge wear visible on the other edge scans, the result remains near mint.
Observed
The surface grade is driven primarily by two moderate diagonal scratches in the upper-right front sky area near the HP icon and top edge. A tiny dark speck on the front border is also present, while the remaining inspected areas show no major additional surface damage.
Observed
Surface (6.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Surface Scratch (moderate, front).
Bringing surface up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
