Gemi Grade Report

Published June 24, 2026
This Zapdos ex presents as a very clean card overall, with excellent centering and no detectable corner or surface issues. The only noted flaw is a very minor edge nick, which keeps the edges just shy of perfect.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is excellent on both sides, with the front essentially dead-center and the back only slightly shifted top-to-bottom and left-to-right within a very tight range. This supports the top-end centering result.
No corner wear was detected in the front or back corner scans, and the corners appear clean enough to support a perfect corner assessment.
The edges are strong overall, with only a tiny whitish nick/chip noted on the front left strip near the far right end. That isolated minor wear is consistent with a high edge grade while still leaving the card very clean overall.
Observed
No surface scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface anomalies were detected in the front or back art scans. The surface evidence cleanly supports a perfect surface result.
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
