Gemi Grade Report
SM Black Star Promos
Published June 24, 2026
This Mewtwo & Mew GX presents as a strong copy overall, with clean surfaces and corners, plus only minor localized edge wear. Centering is very good but not perfect, and the final centering result is capped due to lower measurement confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is close to even overall, with the front showing a slight left/right skew and mild vertical tilt and the back staying similarly balanced. The centering result is capped at 8 because the OpenCV centering confidence was below 75%, but the observed measurements still support a strong, near-centered presentation.
No confirmed corner wear was found on the back, and the only front-corner note was a small possible nick at the top-right tip that was low confidence and affected by glare/holo reflection. With no clear, repeatable corner damage visible in the scan evidence, the corner grade remains at the top level.
Observed
Edge wear is limited to a couple of small, minor nicks/whitening spots along the cut edge, including the front left area and a small back-bottom section. The defects are localized and light rather than continuous or severe, which fits a strong edge result with only slight reduction.
Observed
No surface scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface anomalies were detected in the front or back art scans. The clean scan result supports a top surface grade.
Centering (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
Bringing centering up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
