Gemi Grade Report
Brilliant Stars
Published June 23, 2026
This Umbreon VMAX presents very well overall, with strong centering, clean edges, and a near-pristine surface. The main visible issue is light corner wear on the back, which keeps the card from being flawless but still leaves it in excellent condition.
Image Quality
Strong flash reflections across the holo surface and borders obscure parts of the card and could be mistaken for defects.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card shows near-perfect centering on both sides, with the front essentially balanced and the back only modestly shifted within a 10-level standard. The measured offsets are minor enough to support a top centering result.
Corner quality is strong overall, but the back right-bottom corner shows light whitening along the edge and the back left-top corner has a very small possible nick. Those minor signs of wear fit a slightly reduced corner result while still remaining high grade.
Observed
No edge wear was detected on either the front or back edge strips, and the scans did not show any meaningful chipping or exposed fiber along the borders. That clean edge presentation supports a top edge result.
No surface defects were detected on the art scans, so there is no evidence of scratches, dents, creases, print lines, or spots affecting the grade. Front-surface glare did obscure parts of the holo and borders, but no confirmed surface flaw was identified in the available evidence.
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
