Gemi Grade Report
SWSH Black Star Promos
Published June 29, 2026
Overall, the card presents as very clean with excellent centering and only minimal, isolated wear at a few corners and one edge. Surface inspection is largely clean, though front glare reduced visibility along the lower-right border.
Image Quality
Strong specular glare along the lower-right border and bottom edge; it washes out part of the holo area and makes that section harder to inspect.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is essentially even on both sides and both axes, with only very slight deviation from perfect balance on the front and back. That level of symmetry supports a top centering result.
The corners show only light, isolated wear: a small possible white break at the front top-right, with the other noted front corners and the back bottom-right showing only negligible or minor whitening. The defects are subtle and low-confidence overall, which is consistent with a near-pristine corner grade.
Observed
Edge wear is limited to a single small whitish nick along the front left cut edge, while the remaining edge scans are clean. Because the wear is minor, localized, and not repeated elsewhere, the edge result remains at the top end.
Observed
No surface scratches, dents, creases, spots, or other surface defects were identified in the front art or back art scans. The front lower-right area is partially obscured by glare, but within the visible regions the surface appears clean enough to support a top score.
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, front).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
