Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published July 25, 2026
This Morpeko ex shows excellent overall condition, with pristine-looking centering and surface quality. The only notable marks are a couple of tiny corner/edge nicks that keep the card from being fully perfect.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card presents essentially perfect left/right centering on both sides, with only a very slight top/bottom offset that still reads as strong overall balance. That level of alignment comfortably supports a top centering result.
Corner condition is driven by small isolated wear: a tiny possible break at the front top-right corner, with the image crop limited there, and a clearer small white nick on the back bottom-right corner. The wear is minor and localized, consistent with a strong but not flawless corner result.
Observed
Edge wear is minimal, limited to a tiny whitish nick on the front edge with no meaningful additional damage elsewhere. The wear is so slight that it does not materially impact the overall edge quality.
Observed
No surface defects were identified on the front or back art scans, and there is no evidence of scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, or foil wear. Despite some back-side glare reducing inspection detail in one area, the available evidence supports a clean surface result.
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
