This Hitmontop shows excellent centering with only minor localized wear on one edge and one back corner. The surface appears clean overall, leaving the card in strong overall condition.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is extremely close to even on both sides, with the front measuring about 51.8/48.2 and 51.9/48.1 and the back about 47.8/52.2 and 52.1/47.9. That level of balance supports the top centering result.
The corners are largely clean, with only minor whitening/speckling noted along the back top-right rounded corner. This light wear is consistent with a strong but not perfect corner result.
Observed
Edge condition is strong overall, but the front left strip shows a small chip/whitening at the far right end of the cut edge with a slight notch into the border. That limited wear explains a near-mint edge result.
Observed
No surface defects were identified on the front or back art scans, and no scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, or foil wear were reported. The clean surface evidence supports the top surface result.
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
