Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published July 20, 2026
This Mega Chandelure ex shows strong overall preservation, led by excellent centering and a clean surface. The only meaningful wear is minor edge whitening on the back left edge, with a very subtle corner note that does not materially affect the card's overall presentation.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is excellent on both sides, with the front measuring about 46/54 left-right and 51/49 top-bottom, and the back landing near 51/49 left-right and 49/51 top-bottom. That level of balance supports the top centering result.
The corners present clean overall, with only a very subtle possible minuscule white break or rough spot noted at the front bottom-left tip. The defect is low-confidence and negligible, so the corners remain in top condition.
Observed
The back left edge shows two minor whitening/nick points, both small enough to be localized but still visible on the cut edge. Those limited edge breaks explain a slight deduction from a perfect edge grade.
Observed
No surface scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface anomalies were detected in the card art scans. The surface therefore supports a pristine result.
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, back).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
