Gemi Grade Report
Neo Revelation
Published August 4, 2026
This Shining Gyarados has strong overall presentation, led by excellent surface quality and solid centering. The main limitations are minor corner whitening on multiple corners and a couple of small edge nicks.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card shows strong overall centering: the front is moderately shifted with a left/right bias and slight top/bottom imbalance, while the back sits very close to even on both axes. That mix supports a high centering result despite the front being a bit less balanced than the back.
Corner wear is present on all four corners, with the front bottom-left and bottom-right showing the most noticeable whitening and the back top corners also showing clear light edge breakage. The wear is still mostly minor and localized rather than severe, which fits a solid but not top-tier corners result.
Observed
Edge wear is limited to two small cut-edge chips/notches: one on the front top edge and one on the back bottom edge. These are isolated and minor, with no sign of broad edge roughness, supporting a strong edges result.
Observed
The surface is essentially clean, with only two tiny specks on the back artwork and no meaningful scratches, dents, creases, or print-line issues reported. Those negligible marks do not materially affect the surface assessment, so the result remains at the top end.
Observed
Corners (7.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 8.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
