Gemi Grade Report
Sun & Moon
Published July 13, 2026
This Umbreon GX shows a strong overall presentation with minor centering offset and only small, isolated wear on the corners, edges, and surface. The card remains in very clean condition, with the most notable limitations coming from glare and a few light defects rather than widespread damage.
Image Quality
• Strong foil glare across the card face, especially through the center and upper area, which makes inspection less reliable.
• Strong specular glare on the left-center of the card obscures part of the back artwork.
1 back-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card shows mild centering imbalance: the front is slightly left-heavy while the back is more noticeably shifted, though both remain well within a strong overall range. The measured offsets support a solid but not perfect centering result.
Corners are mostly clean, with only minor wear noted at the front top-left and bottom-right, plus a subtle possible touch on the back top-right. A back top-left corner showed visible whitening but was excluded from scoring because that area was affected by image quality, which keeps the overall corner result strong.
Observed
Edges present as very clean overall, with the main issue being a small white nick/chip along the back bottom edge near the right side. That limited, minor wear is consistent with a near-gem edge result.
Observed
Surface is strong overall, with the main defect being a faint scratch/line in the back upper-left blue field. Front-side inspection is less reliable because of strong glare, but the visible surface evidence still supports a high surface result.
Observed
Centering (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
Bringing centering up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Corners, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
