Gemi Grade Report
XY Black Star Promos
Published August 27, 2026
This Celebi promo presents very strong centering and clean corners, with the main deductions coming from light edge whitening and a minor surface spot. A small amount of front-side evidence was ignored due to scan quality, but the overall card remains in strong condition.
Image Quality
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.

Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is very well centered on both sides, with measured front centering essentially 51/49 left-right and 49/51 top-bottom, and the back close to even as well. That level of balance supports the top centering result.
The corners show no definite chips, fraying, or exposed core in the visible crops. A few corners are only partially visible or slightly blurred, but the observed marks are too ambiguous to count as true wear, consistent with a pristine corner result.
Observed
There is minor edge wear visible on the front, including small white chips/whitening along the cut edge and a slight nick on the lower section. One additional front-edge irregularity was noted in a glare-affected area but excluded from scoring, which fits the solid but not perfect edge result.
Observed
Surface quality is strong overall, with only a small gray spot visible on the back and a faint front-side mark reported in an image-quality-affected region. Because that front-side mark was excluded from scoring and the remaining surface issue is minor, the high surface result is well supported.
Observed
Edges (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Surface, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
