Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published August 1, 2026
This card presents very strong overall condition, led by excellent centering and clean surface detail. The only notable wear is minor corner whitening and a tiny edge nick, with one corner defect excluded from scoring due to scan-quality limitations.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
1 back-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is essentially pristine, with the front measuring about 51.6/48.4 left-right and 51.9/48.1 top-bottom, and the back reading almost perfectly balanced at 50/50 and 49.3/50.7. The card sits comfortably in top-tier centering range.
Corners show light wear only, with tiny whitening noted on the back top-left and back bottom-right tips. A small nick on the back top-right was observed but excluded from scoring because it sat in an image-quality affected region, so the resulting corner result reflects the visible minor wear with that limitation in mind.
Observed
Edges are very clean overall, with only a tiny pale nick/whitening noted on the front bottom strip near the center. The wear is isolated and minor, consistent with a near-mint edge result.
Observed
No surface defects were detected on the front or back card art scans. Despite some front-side glare reducing inspection confidence in places, there is no reported scratch, dent, crease, print line, spot, foil wear, or other surface issue to explain a deduction.
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
