Gemi Grade Report
SVP Black Star Promos
Published June 29, 2026
This card shows excellent overall condition with very strong centering and essentially clean corners and edges. The main visible drawback is a minor back surface scratch, while glare on the front slightly reduces inspection reliability.
Image Quality
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
• Strong reflective glare crosses the top and center of the card, partially obscuring the artwork and making surface inspection less reliable.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very strong on both sides, with only slight right-heavy and top-heavy drift on the front and back. The balance stays well within a top-tier range, which supports the 10 result.
Corners present as clean overall, with only a tiny, uncertain light spot near the back bottom-left corner tip. That isolated and low-confidence mark is consistent with a top corner grade.
Observed
Edges are largely clean, with just a tiny white nick/whitening along the back bottom cut edge near the right side. The wear is minor and isolated, so it does not move the edges off a top result.
Observed
The surface shows a thin pale scratch-like line in the upper-left back blue field, and front glare makes some inspection less reliable. Even so, the visible mark is limited in size and severity, which fits the 9 surface result.
Observed
Surface (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Surface Scratch (minor, back).
Bringing surface up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
