Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published August 2, 2026
This copy shows excellent centering and very clean corners and surface overall. The only meaningful wear is minor edge whitening, keeping the card in strong overall condition.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is exceptionally tight on both sides, with the front reading about 48/52 left-right and 51/49 top-bottom, and the back staying close to even as well. That level of balance supports a top centering result.
Corners present only very light, subtle wear: a possible tiny nick near the front right corner and a faint break along the upper arc of the back right corner. The marks are small and low-impact, consistent with a pristine corners result.
Observed
Edges show the main handling evidence here, with small white nicks/whitening along the cut edges on both front and back, including a slightly more noticeable nick at the far right front edge. The wear is still minor overall, which fits a near-mint edge result.
Observed
The surface remains clean, with only a couple of tiny pale specks in the back border area and no meaningful scratches, dents, creases, or print-line issues reported. Those negligible marks are not enough to materially affect the surface grade.
Observed
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
