Gemi Grade Report
SWSH Black Star Promos
Published August 16, 2026
This Mimikyu promo shows strong overall presentation, with only minor isolated edge/corner wear and slightly off-center front measurements. The back-side corner wear was observed but not used in scoring because that area was affected by scan quality.
Image Quality
2 back-side defects ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is strong overall, with the front reading slightly left- and top-heavy and the back landing closer to balance left-to-right but still a bit top-heavy. The deviation is mild and well within the range for a high centering result.
Corners present as clean overall, with only a very subtle possible nick on the front bottom-left corner and back-corner wear that was observed but excluded from scoring because that region was affected by image quality. With the unreliable back-side corner evidence set aside, the corners support a top-tier result.
Observed
Edges are largely sharp, with the main note being a tiny white nick on the front top edge near the right side. The rest of the edge scans are clean, so the wear appears isolated and minor.
Observed
No surface scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface anomalies were detected on the card art scans. The surface therefore reads as clean and well preserved.
Centering (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
Bringing centering up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
