Gemi Grade Report
Paldean Fates
Published June 24, 2026
This Mew ex shows excellent overall presentation, with near-perfect centering, clean corners, and no detected edge wear. The main limitation is light surface spotting in the holo fields on the front and back.
Image Quality
1 back-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is essentially perfect on both sides, with the front measuring about 48/52 left-right and 51/49 top-bottom, and the back reading essentially 50/50 with only a slight vertical shift. That level of alignment supports a top centering result.
Corners present as clean overall, with no meaningful wear confirmed on the front or back. A very subtle possible nick at the back top-right corner was noted, but it was excluded from scoring because the region was image-quality affected and too unreliable to count against the grade.
Observed
No edge wear was detected on either the front or back edge strip scans, so the edges support a pristine result. The scan evidence does not show chipping, whitening, or other visible edge damage.
The surface result is driven by several tiny pale spots in the blue holo fields on both sides, including two on the front and three on the back. These marks are small and mostly negligible to minor, but their presence across the card explains why the surface is not flawless.
Observed
Surface (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Surface Spot (minor, back).
Bringing surface up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
