Gemi Grade Report
SWSH Black Star Promos
Published June 21, 2026
This Rayquaza V presents as a very clean card overall, with strong corners and surface and only minor edge whitening plus mild centering imbalance. The main detractions are a few tiny edge chips and a faint back-border scuff, while the rest of the card scans sharply.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is slightly off-center front and back, with the front running a bit right-heavy and the back more noticeably right-heavy, but both remain comfortably within strong gem-level centering range. The measured placement supports the high centering result despite the mild imbalance.
All four corners scanned cleanly with no visible corner wear on either side, which aligns with a top corner grade.
Edge wear is limited to a few small white nicks and chips along the cut edges, most notably across the top front edge and a couple of small spots on the back edge. The wear is minor and localized rather than continuous, supporting a solid but not perfect edge result.
Observed
The surface is essentially clean overall, with only a faint diagonal white scuff/scratch noted on the back lower border. That mark is very light and isolated, so the surface still reads as exceptionally strong.
Observed
Edges (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
