Gemi Grade Report
Silver Tempest
Published July 10, 2026
This Lugia V Alternate Full Art presents excellent centering and very clean edges and surface overall. The main deductions come from the visible front corner wear, while one additional front-corner nick was excluded from scoring due to scan-quality limitations.
Image Quality
1 front-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card shows near-even measured centering on both sides, with the front essentially balanced and the back only slightly heavier on the right and bottom. Those measurements support a top centering result.
Corner condition is held back by visible wear on the front bottom-left corner, where the tip shows clear whitening and adjacent edge exposure, plus a smaller possible nick at the top-right. A front bottom-right nick was also observed but excluded from scoring because the scan quality in that area was affected, which leaves the corners as strong overall but not pristine.
Observed
No meaningful edge wear was detected on either edge strip scan, and the visible perimeter remains clean. That matches a top edge result.
Surface is largely clean, with only a tiny dark speck on the back blue background below-left of the Poké Ball. Despite some back-side glare reducing inspection quality in places, the observed blemish is minor and limited, consistent with a near-mint surface result.
Observed
Corners (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (moderate, front).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Surface, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
