Gemi Grade Report
Chaos Rising
Published August 10, 2026
This Mega Greninja ex shows excellent centering and strong overall preservation, with the main wear concentrated in one front corner and a few minor edge/surface marks. The card presents cleanly overall and is consistent with a high-grade example.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is very well centered on both sides, with only slight drift in the measured left/right and top/bottom balances. The front and back stay comfortably within a strong gem-range presentation, supporting the top centering result.
Corner condition is held back mainly by the front bottom-left corner, which shows visible roughening and light edge break/fraying near the tip. The front bottom-right has only a faint nick, while the back corners appear clean, so the overall corner result remains strong despite that localized wear.
Observed
Edges are generally sharp, with only minor nicking visible on the front bottom cut edge and a tiny possible white nick on the back top edge. Those isolated spots keep the edge grade high because the wear is limited and not broadly distributed.
Observed
Surface preservation is strong overall, but there is a thin pale diagonal scratch in the upper-center front artwork and a faint whitish scuff/spotting area in the back right border. Both marks are minor and localized, so they support a near-pristine surface result.
Observed
Corners (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (moderate, front).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
