Gemi Grade Report
SWSH Black Star Promos
Published June 28, 2026
This Vaporeon V shows excellent centering with only light corner and edge wear. Surface presentation is clean overall, with one edge nick and a small back-corner chip as the main visible flaws.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
1 front-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very strong on both sides, with the front near 53/47 left-right and 51/49 top-bottom, and the back similarly close to balanced. The card presents as effectively centered for grading purposes.
Corner wear is light overall, which fits the high result here. The most credible issue is a small white nick/chip on the back top-right corner, while the front bottom-left shows only a very subtle possible nick; the front top-right corner observation was not used in scoring because glare and pattern interference made that area unreliable.
Observed
Edge wear is minimal and limited to a small white nick/chip on the front top-right edge just before the corner. The remaining edges scan cleanly, supporting a strong edge result.
Observed
No meaningful surface defects were detected on either side. The card surface scans cleanly, consistent with a top surface result.
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
