Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published July 20, 2026
This copy shows excellent overall presentation, with pristine surface detail and strong centering on both sides. The only meaningful flaw in the scan evidence is a small back-edge nick, which keeps the card from being completely flawless.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is very well centered front and back, with the front essentially dead-center and the back only showing a modest left/right shift that still stays within a strong 10-level presentation. The measured centering supports a top result here.
Corner handling is effectively pristine overall, and the only reported wear is a very subtle front bottom-right specking plus faint back bottom-right lightening that is low-confidence and could be influenced by lighting or compression. That level of corner evidence is consistent with a top corner result.
Observed
Edge quality is strong, with the main note being a small white nick/chip along the back bottom edge near the far left section that lightly interrupts the cut edge. The wear is minor and localized, which fits a slight reduction from perfect edge condition.
Observed
No surface defects were detected on either the front card art or the back card art, and there is no reported scratching, denting, creasing, print line, spotting, foil wear, or other surface anomaly. The surface therefore reads as clean and fully supportive of a top score.
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, back).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
