Gemi Grade Report
Chaos Rising
Published June 23, 2026
The card shows strong overall preservation with excellent centering and only light wear to the corners, edges, and back surface. A few back-side defects were observed but some were excluded from scoring because of image-quality limitations, leaving the card in very solid condition overall.
Image Quality
2 back-side defects ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very strong on both sides, with the front landing close to even left/right and only a mild top/bottom shift, and the back reading similarly balanced. That level of placement supports a perfect centering result.
Corner wear is limited overall, but there is a visible chip/white break at the front top-right corner with exposed whitening along the rounded tip and adjacent arc. A similar back top-right corner defect was also observed, though that back-side evidence was excluded from scoring because the region was affected by image quality, so the final corner result reflects the visible wear while still remaining strong.
Observed
Edge condition is clean aside from a couple of small front-edge imperfections on the left side, including a minor white nick and a tiny pale pinprick on the cut line. The back edge strip also showed roughness/fraying, but that observation was excluded from grade scoring due to image-quality limitations.
Observed
Surface wear is light, with the main issue being a thin pale diagonal scratch in the upper-left blue area on the back, just left of the Pokémon logo. No significant front-surface damage was identified in the scan evidence.
Observed
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (moderate, front).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
