Gemi Grade Report
Surging Sparks
Published July 7, 2026
This Pikachu ex shows strong overall preservation, with excellent centering, clean corners, and only minor edge and surface imperfections. The scan quality has a little glare, but the observed wear is limited and does not materially change the strong presentation.
Image Quality
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.

Four-axis score profile
Centering is excellent overall, with the front essentially dead-on left-to-right and only a mild vertical shift; the back is similarly balanced with a small top-to-bottom offset. That level of placement supports a top-tier centering result.
The corners present as clean and well-preserved in the available scans, with no meaningful corner wear noted on either side. That supports a pristine corners result.
Edge condition is very strong overall, with only a small whitening/nick at the front cut edge and otherwise clean boundaries in the strip scans. The minor localized wear is consistent with a near-gem edge result.
Observed
Surface quality is excellent aside from a light whitish scuff along the upper printed border near the left side on the front. The defect is minor and localized, which fits a near-gem surface result.
Observed
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Surface, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
