Gemi Grade Report
Pitch Black
Published August 5, 2026
This card presents with excellent centering and very clean edges and surface, while the front corners show the most noticeable wear. Overall, the visible flaws are concentrated in the corners rather than across the card as a whole.
Image Quality
Strong reflective glare across the right half and lower area obscures some surface detail and makes inspection less reliable.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is very strong, with the front essentially even left-to-right and only a slight top-heaviness. The back is similarly close to balanced, with only a modest vertical shift that still falls well within a premium-looking presentation.
Corner wear is the main visual weakness, led by the front bottom-right corner, which shows multiple white chips and fraying with exposed white core. The front bottom-left and top-right corners also show smaller nicks, so the corners have some uneven wear rather than a uniform clean finish.
Observed
Edges are largely clean, with only a tiny bright nick/whitening noted on the front top cut edge near center-right. That kind of isolated, minor edge wear is consistent with a strong edge result overall.
Observed
Surface condition appears excellent overall, with only tiny pale specks in the printed border on the front and back and no substantive scratches, dents, creases, or print lines identified. Strong glare across the right half and lower front limited inspection in that area, but the observed surface evidence is still minimal.
Observed
Corners (7.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (moderate, front).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
