Gemi Grade Report
Base Set
Published August 6, 2026
This Squirtle shows excellent overall preservation, with strong centering and only minor localized wear. The main visible issues are a few small front surface marks plus limited back edge and corner wear.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
1 front-side defect ignored due to scan quality.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card presents near-perfect centering on both front and back, with only slight measured variation that remains well within a top-tier range. No centering-related issues are evident from the scan data.
Corners are strong overall, with only a small white nick/chip visible on the back lower-left corner. The rest of the corners appear clean, supporting a high corner result.
Observed
Edges are generally clean, but the back bottom edge shows a small cluster of white nicks/whitening near the center-right. The wear is limited and localized, consistent with a high-but-not-pristine edge result.
Observed
The front surface shows a faint vertical-to-slightly-diagonal scratch in the right blue background and a tiny bright speck in the lower-right background, both minor in extent. A small brownish scuff near the front top border was observed but excluded from scoring because that area was affected by image quality/glare, so the surface result is based on the reliable visible evidence.
Observed
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Edges, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
