Gemi Grade Report
Silver Tempest
Published August 22, 2026
This Lugia VSTAR presents as a very clean card overall, with excellent centering, pristine corners, and a spotless surface. The only notable issue is limited front edge wear at the far left and right edges.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is measured very close to centered overall, with the front nearly dead-center left to right and only a mild vertical shift. The back shows a similarly small top/bottom imbalance, but nothing significant enough to keep the centering from grading as a top result.
No corner wear was detected on the front or back corner scans, which supports a pristine corners result.
Edge wear is limited to two small front-side areas: a minor nick/chip at the far left cut edge corner and a small worn section on the far right edge with slight whitening and an irregular cut boundary. The back edges were clean, so the result reflects light but real edge wear rather than widespread damage.
Observed
No surface scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface anomalies were detected across the front or back art scans, supporting a clean surface result.
Edges (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
