Gemi Grade Report
151
Published June 24, 2026
This Alakazam ex shows strong overall condition with clean corners, clean surfaces, and excellent centering. The only notable flaw is a small bit of whitening on the back top edge, which is minor but keeps the edges from a perfect result.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card is very well centered on both sides, with only slight measured drift from ideal and nothing severe enough to affect the top grade. Front and back balance remain within a near-perfect range.
No corner wear was identified on either the front or back, so the corners present clean and sharp overall. That clean corner condition supports the top result here.
Edges are mostly clean, but a small white nick/whitening spot is present on the back top edge near the left-center portion of the strip. The wear is minor and localized, which fits a slight reduction from perfect despite the otherwise strong edge presentation.
Observed
No surface scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, or foil wear were identified in the scan evidence. The back image had some glare that made inspection a bit less straightforward, but no surface defect was observed.
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, back).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
